Pete Brady - July 2014What a stay!!! Fantastic hosts, great food and the accommodation so warm and cosy for a mid winter bike trip. Us three guys really enjoyed our stay at Millers Flat. Thanks Cally and Wendy....you're the best! |
Jo - May 2014We were a group of four women and we stopped here for a night while biking the Clutha trail. We had a wonderful night with Cally and Wendy. The rooms are extremely comfy, with very tasteful decor. A little treat to have with a drink on arrival, beautifully presented three course meal, gorgeous breakfast and amazing packed lunch to take away. Cally and Wendy were a very hospitable couple. We will be back again! |
Guy Murphy - February 2014I highly recommend Quince Cottage to all visitors passing through the area. The accommodation is beautifully appointed and set within extensive, well maintained gardens. The ladies were wonderful hosts, who catered for us with style and sophistication, and gave us a superb introduction to the locality. Great thought was put into offering guests a pleasant experience. If you want to treat yourself to a night or two away, Quince Cottage is a most excellent choice. |
Miriam Vollweiler - January 2014Fabulous. The icing on the cake for cycling the Clutha Gold cycle trail. Stunning style, comfort, food, gardens and hospitality and a packed lunch the next day made with love... ask for the key to the Miller's Flat swimming pool and feel like you are a millionaire. This place is the best. Thank you Wendy and Cally. |
Chris Dyett - January 2014Our stay at Quince cottage was both memorable and very relaxing. The setting is incredible, with the cottage and main house set in an enchanting and cleverly landscaped 5 acre garden surrounded by rural foothills and grand central otago mountains. The interior of the cottage was very warm and contemporary without missing any luxuries either. The main house, a 2 minute stroll through the enchanting garden, is an interiors designers dream and has many separate spaces to relax, dine or have a quiet wine before dinner. This property is very handy to much of what central has to offer or it can be a serene oasis to just while away a few days. We highly recommend it, and will be back soon. |
Red SapwellMy partner Patti and I stayed here at Easter as part of our Roxburgh Gold Trail cycle adventure. We arrived late morning and immediately offered lunch and a couple of beers. Expected a vegemite sandwich or similar but received a cordon bleu filled roll. Our stand alone lodge was like something out of "Home and Garden", meal at night was absolutely wonderful and the ambience provided by the log fire and the two other guests was A1. A great B&B!! |
